Attorney at Law
Ron was born in Garden Valley, Idaho and has lived in Idaho for all but three years of his junior high school days. Ron graduated from Boise State University in 1999 and attended law school at the University of Idaho College of Law where he earned a Juris Doctorate degree in 2002.
Attorney at Law
Fredrick Shema is an Associate Attorney at Shep Law Group and a licensed attorney in Idaho. Drawing on his background in refugee resettlement and community advocacy, he is committed to helping individuals and families navigate complex legal challenges.
Fredrick is fluent in English, Kinyarwanda, Luganda, Swahili, Kirundi, and Runyankole, allowing him to serve clients from diverse backgrounds.
Intern
Thomas has been a Boise, Idaho resident since 2018 and is currently pursuing his law degree at the University of Idaho College of Law. Before law school, he worked for the State of Idaho in roles focused on international trade and grants administration, developing a strong commitment to public service. Thomas now serves as a legal intern, assisting attorney Ron Shepherd while continuing his legal education.
Outside of work and school, Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife Lauren and daughter, taking advantage of Idaho’s outdoor lifestyle, community events, and family activities.
